My Favorite and Traditional Charity

NCN Blog is looking for others to post about their favorite charity. I think that this is a great idea and shows us all how we can give back to the world.

My favorite charity is also a family tradition created by my grandmother. Our family has a history of being tossed into the most difficult of circumstances. Making them seem like a lost cause. And if you know anything about Saints, you know that St. Jude is the Patron Saint of Desperate Cases. Making prayer to St. Jude for intersession with the big guy, a necessity in our household. Thus creating a bond that ushers my entire family to donate and support the St. Jude Children's Hospital.

St. Jude's Research & Hospital are the only hope for many children that are faced with the overwhelming desperation of cancer and other children illnesses. They do not turn a child in need away, ever. I could never find a more worthwhile cause to place my funds into.

If you get a chance to look through their site and see the wonders that they are accomplishing, you may see hope for a cure and success at saving our children from these despicable illnesses.

The information that they get from their extensive research is not just for the children. As with any large facility all knowledge is shared and utilized by others. Leaving me to say - the help you provide may someday help you or someone you love.
