I'm an Advil Junkie

Last night, I woke up to a migraine that could make a nun cuss like a sailor. The kind where you cry from the pain, and can't stop. Light is the enemy! Noise is amplified to such volumes you think your head will pop like a giant pimple.

This would be a day with my gel mask on, making me similar to the Lone Ranger and laying down in a dark room, praying for death.

Not today, today I am at the laundry. The store is packed and the drop-off is coming through in record numbers. Good for the store, bad for me.

I forgot my Excedrin Migraine pills and Advil is all I have in my purse. So, I am popping them like candy, because they darn sure aren't strong enough for my headaches.

I think it is subsiding slightly, only because I can breathe and think at the same time. This is a huge improvement over earlier this morning.

Although the involuntary tears have subsided, I am now trying to rub out my raccoon eyes. Wearing make-up is not advised on a migraine day.

Just glad the laundry's making money, because I won't today.
