Can You Keep A Secret?
I bought this book, Can You Keep A Secret, by Sophie Kinsella for my little sister for Christmas.
The whole time, until our exchange night, it taunted me. I felt the pull to crack the binding and read. Out of respect for my sister and the new book feel, I controlled the growing temptation. I'm such a book whore.
Well, DD2 saw in my eyes, when I showed her my purchases, how much I wanted to read it. Bless her little heart, she got it for me for Christmas. I was so excited, to see this book. And I have already finished it.
I loved it. Such a light hearted, humorous read. I enjoyed it so much, I will probably look into this authors other works.
Just a short little synopsis:
A young, educated woman looking to make her way in the marketing world. Has her doubts about herself and is like most of us - trying to move ahead. She gets an opportunity to join in a business meeting, where it is believed the i's have been dotted and the t's have been crossed. She only needs to bring home the bacon so to speak.
Things turn. The client is changing their mind. It goes bad.
She is afraid to fly and experiences a turbulent ride on her way back. One that leaves her spilling her secrets to a stranger. I'm talking those secrets you don't tell ANYONE. When she arrives safely at her destination - she decides to shrug it off. After all, she will never see this stranger again.
But she does.........
The above takes place in the first part of the book and can be read on the cover. I think most of you would enjoy this one. Especially, when life is heavy with stress. A light read can really relax you.

I have read a few of her "Shopaholic" series - very lgiht and humorous, with a touch of romance!
OMG! I actually want to read this book now!!
I'd like to recommend bookmooch.com.
I've exchanged several books on there now and although it's not always very quick, it does almost always come through. Great for getting rid of books you won't read again and again, and getting new ones for free. Some of the books I've gotten are well read, others are literally brand new.
