Change Duration

Speaking about my homemade video - I could use some help, if you are in the know.

I have a NIKON D80 camera - love it. Yesterday, I attended a Cheerleading Competition that my daughter was in. We didn't win, but I still want a reminder of the big day - plus I will do another one this coming weekend.

Anyway, video cameras are not allowed. No biggie for me, I don't own one. Should you get caught video taping your schools team loses points and can be disqualified from the competition. I think it is all a scam, so folks are forced to buy their $30 video.

So, I set my camera to Continuous - not video - and just held the button down as they performed. I ended up with 350 shots. I put them on the laptop and went to create a video. Brought all the photos into the program and placed them in the story line.

The system defaulted to a 5 second duration for each photo. I found, in the menu, where I could alter the duration, and I did. I changed the duration to .0125. Hoping to make the photos flow closer together. Giving the illusion of a video.

The only thing is, the clips duration did not change. My video is 29 minutes long.

Anyone know how to fix this?
