Changes in 2008 on Page Rank

Back in 2007, as if it was a century ago, folks were all over the bloggosphere complaining about the Google Page Ranking System. Like a thief in the night the system was zapping away the page ranks.

Maybe it is my ignorance to such things, but it didn't bother me too much. Heck, even the loss of extra income, from the decreased page wasn't terrible for me. Possibly, because time restraints were playing a larger part in my lack of earning time.

Such is Life.

One of my sites, was totally sunk.....ehhmmm...this one to a Page Rank of zero on that fateful day. The other, for reasons I may never know, held fast and is still at the same rank today.

Surprise

Last night while I was being lazy and reading all the other blogs out there, I clicked on mine. I so rarely click the page on and view it for myself. Possibly another reason I wasn't haunted by the page rank demise. :-)

I was surprised to see 1/2 of my Page Rank had returned.

Is it good? I think so. Just looking at scales it is better to be anything over zero and on your way to ten. Right? Will I notice changes from this? I don't know, since I was not as affected by the demise of the score as others.

I also suspect my time to remain limited for at least another 60 days. So, time will tell.
