Frankly, there are better ways to spend our tax dollars

Putting Jones in jail is a terrible idea. One that will cost tax payers some dollars. Why don't we focus on the real criminals of the world that are killing and causing great pains?

For those of you who don't know, Jones is was an Olympic Star. She was found guilty of using Steroids and Lying about using them.

She is being thrown in jail for 6 months for lying about them, says the judge. This in an effort to teach her and all behind her a lesson.

I don't disagree that what she has done is wrong. And neither does she. I personally admire her strength through this mess.

She made a mistake, we have all made mistakes. This mistake harmed no one physically, but her. And possibly her children - I'm not sure how the long term effects pan out.

She gave back her medals - all of them. She had to go public with her lie. All her sponsorships are gone. And with that, all her money is gone. She has paid for her sins.

This judge is stripping her of precious time with her infant child, to "teach a lesson". Hello, Mr. Judge - lesson learned. She has paid dearly for her choice. Don't make her child suffer too.
