Fun: Check Your Dog's Metabolic Age
I received an email for DogAge and of course I had to try it. I love, love, love my dog.
From my calculations I would say my dog is in her 60's. I'm not completely positive, but I do have a rough age for her. You see, she is adopted and was found on the run - so no one really knows her birthday. When we got her, the kids just gave her a birthday of September 29th. Don't ask why - who knows what kids are thinking.
Anyway, we have had her about 9 years. Holy cow. And she was about 1 or 2 when we got her. Still kind of wild like a puppy, but full grown. So, I'm thinking 64 (1 year + (9 x7) = 64). Some calculation I have always used.
I was surprised when they calculated her metabolic dog age at 43.2. They did count off for NO LEASH and I don't think that is fair. I have her trained to NOT leave my side. I don't care where we go, she is always within 5 feet of me. Maybe because she is afraid to lose me and not all that trained. :-)

My little pup is doing good... she's younger than her mere 7 months of age. Hehe. She scored high though because we buy her special breed food (she weighs 2.5 pounds so we have to have itty bitty food for her). I loved the survey though since it tells you what you're doing right and wrong to help your dog.
