Vacation Empty to Vacation Overflowing

My brother called this morning and confirmed our family vacation for late summer. My father and step-mother are renting a beach house in Jersey for all of us. All we need to do is get there and pay for our food and expenses. A sweet deal. I'm sure they are paying a large price for a home on the beach, big enough for all of us.

It ought to be a good time. We will probably spend some time heading to New York, since.....sit down, you won't believe it....my hubby has never seen the Statue of Liberty. Yes, yes he is deprived.

My brother wishes to see David Letterman, and I think it would be a good time for all if we can somehow muster up enough tickets. They only show ticket dates through April, so I need to remember to keep checking back in.

Of course, above all these days of big spending, I'm looking forward to some nice family time on the beach. Drinking some fruity cocktails and laughing. At least until I turn a bright shade of LOBSTER. Sucks being without pigment. A curse I am stuck with. **feel cold chill run up spine**

Just in case one vacation isn't a shock to our systems, we also have that wedding in North Carolina in early fall. Of course, like the above vacation - this is not one to miss. It is my hubby's nephew and the first in this level of the family to wed. We are all going - regardless. Even if we have to go into debt. :-(

My sweetheart hubby has, by himself, been searching online to enroll us in dance class.

I couldn't believe it either! Evidently, he is primed to get to this wedding and have a blast. I'm hoping he succeeds - would be the best birthday present ever - for me.

Or maybe not - I have NO RHYTHM! Heck, I can't even dance until I am 2 sheets to the wind. Thus his search. LOL! Just hope the hotel is close!
