A Mistake By The Clintons

All politicians make mistakes. It is unrealistic to ever think that perfection can come from a human.

They won't always agree with everything you would like them to agree with. They won't always make the best choices. They will look back at some point, no matter who they are and wish they had chosen another path. Need I say NAFTA - I think the biggest mistake that President Clinton hit us with. Sure he did a lot of good, but this one hurts the majority of folks, where they live.

Anyway, realistically, I have to understand that no one is perfect. And keep striving to make the best choices. I am gradually warming up to Obama. Yes, I am slow. I still have a few issues, I'm hoping to be resolved prior to the election. But I am coming to terms with my options.

Today, on my travels - after listening to The Secret, I tuned in The Ed Schultz Show. I like his show for a lot of reasons, not that I always agree with his train of thought, but he is showing me and teaching me a ton more then I learn off my local news. For that I am grateful. Knowlege, in an election is power.

Today, a caller - I believe his name was Michael, from Wisconsin called in. And talk about grabbing my soul and shaking it. The story is one I feel that Hillary should have in the public fore front. For it is one that shows her true self. One that she hasn't been showing since this began. Of course, she is a gal in a man's world and probably thinks it is best to hide this sensitive side.

I DON'T.

You see, Michael's daughter is one of a few children that had a incurable disease. One that for the life of me I can not pronounce. A disease that is killing children. A disease that there is ZERO dollars allotted for research. A disease that killed her in July of last year.

She was 11.

Prior to her death. Her father went to great pains to bring the news of this terrible illness to the right people in hopes of help. Help for the children.

He contacted EVERYONE that he thought would be running in this election. He contacted Obama, Edwards, Clinton, and all that were running. He told his story and his daughters story hoping to find funding to save other children.

Out of all the letters, only one of our country's government officials contact this man. This man that is currently losing his home, that he, his wife and 6 other children live in. Why??? HEALTH INSURANCE. In an attempt to save his child, he risked their home. As I would.

The one runner for the Presidency that contact him == Hillary Clinton (Bill too)

This is the type of people they are - they care - I wish they would show it.
