I was wavering on whether to share this or not, because I want to win. Less folks knowing, more chance for me right??? Of course, that isn't being my charitable self - which I need to maintain for another 5+ weeks. :-)

With Valentine's upon us, I think a romantic getaway is just what we all need - with that person closest to us. For those of us in the indecisive section of the population, we can go to the site to find vacation ideas all thrown together for us. No muss, no fuss.

My romantic choice would be Hawaii. I know not very original, but folks my neighborhood is a frozen tundra. If I close my eyes, I can see my and my hubby on a warm, sunny beach. The breeze bringing in the salty smell of the ocean. A beautiful little umbrella drink that gets filled as fast as it empties. My albino body, in my dreams at least, turning a beautiful shade of brown, instead of lobster.

I'm sure there are a zillion romantic things to do in Hawaii, that I haven't even dreamed of. I feel the vacation life style getting closer. As our debt burdens shrink and our financial security looks more secure. We are going to the top of a volcano, renting a car and driving the full distance around the island to see the sites. There are just so many things to do in Honolulu.

Pearl Harbor would be on my list, but the romance is kind of lost there. But heck, everyone needs a break for air. :-)

One thing I was surprised at, was the cost of these activities. I guess I always assumed they would be through the roof. I think they are quite reasonable. Not much different from here in Illinois and they are in paradise. Go figure.
