Inmate is suing prison system for his weight loss

Isn't the whole system set up to punish folks for breaking the law. The idea is, if you break the law, you lose your freedoms. This in and of itself should be enough to deter you from crime. Especially, if you like walking free and choosing your path.

Your path is decided by others when you commit a crime.

So, tell me why then, this prisoner is allowed to file a suit against the prison system.

It appears that he is widdling away to nothing after his incarceration in September. So far, losing 1/4Th of himself. I believe he entered that prison at 413 pounds and is now only a fraction of the man he was at 300 pounds.

He is starving. Those mean prison people are only feeding him 3000 calories a day. How can he survive? Does it really matter that he killed someone?

This ticks me off. He has no rights! I don't care about his cry baby attitude. We tax payers are providing him FREE ROOM AND BOARD for being a murder. Give him some Kleenex, scratch that give him some small hankies that can be washed, and tell him where to stick his law suit.

In my opinion he should be thanking the system for a more healthy diet and his weight loss. I'm sure he'll live many years longer for this.

Passing out???? Do it man! Fall down, take a nap and shut the heck up!

Well, you know, it's not like he brutally killed a man and set their house on fire. Oh wait, he did. Dang it...
Seriously, this is terrible. First off, they have made him healthier since he was obese (and still technically is), and second, HE MURDERED SOMEONE! How does his lawyer sleep at night???

If there can be a good side - it is this - He doesn't have a lawyer helping him. He did this all on his own.

Still going to cost the tax payers money to defend the system though.
