Visitor Counts

I've seen a lot of other blogs talking about changes in the quantity of visitors and thanking other sites for referrals. I'm no where near this league online. I installed one of those Stat Counters, actually 2 times, and that is about all I know.

I know when doing various things online, like financial opportunities, a page rank is important. People, advertisers, want to know how many may view their page from the referral. Izea Ranks is now offering ranks for bloggers, in an effort to streamline the page ranking system. Making it fair, so to speak.

Some big boy, page ranking people, have taken it upon themselves to down rank certain folks, just willy-nilly. So, it is creating confusion on page ranks. For instance, when I try to get a solid page rank from the site, with multiple rankings - I fall from 0 all the way to 8. Something that just serves to confuse me more.

Hopefully, with a system working for bloggers only, we may get some true and accurate numbers. Time will tell though, it is only in its infancy. Of course, the more that join, the better the stats will be. This is a slow and tedious process, but a necessary one.

It is about time that these rates become a basic calculation, much like a credit score. There is no way you should see such a massive spread in numbers. These spreads could cause massive confusion and mislead the person looking for the truth. After all, these are numbers how can they vary to such a huge degree and still be called accurate.

I've recently been receiving an IZEA Ranking and I am thrilled to discover how this places me, compared to others. Although, I still don't know how to use it. :-)
